The Importance of Retention in Product Development
We knew from the beginning that we hit a real pain point, but what we didn't know is how to address it. We were trying to build a product solution to a problem that had never had a product solution for it before. It took a lot of experimentation and iteration to get right. The metric that we tracked was retention. To this day, actually retention is our most important metric.
