The History of Dowsing

Dowsing has been around for a long time. There are claims that dowsing is at least 6,000 years old. People will point to some cave art from Africa of a couple of figures. It looks like one of them's holding a dowsing rod. But when you look carefully at the image itself and to my eyes and to some other people's eyes it doesn't look like a dowsed rod at all.
