How Do You Mitigate This Business Disruption?
Nina: The first thing is setting expectations with the client. We've had cases where remediation has taken four to five months and a lot of clients are in the headspace that remediation can happen within a week. So I think it's about setting expectations and letting them know that this is going to be for the long haul, she says. Nina: For someone just starting out wanting to get into incident response, I think technical skills are really important to develop first. Then I would focus on understanding the industry better.
