Cheer's telekinesis mechanic came from a gameplay-centric idea. It slowly evolved into the actuality, like warping into the object or the animal and then jumping out of it. The moment it clicked for us that it being centered around animals mostly was a good fit. A lot of new cadet union folklores and legends are about anthropomorphic animals,. Like, shape-shifting, human beings. So, like, thematically, it really fit for the game as well.
