Every family that I grew up with everyone that I knew had an uncle joe or grandmom grandmom mary that had a touch of Alzheimer's but mentally illness and the family took care of them right? If they couldn't and they were violent they had to go to a sanitarium. My grandfather said that his father had got mental illness and they had to commit him to the middle hospital and stalked. They have to inculcate the idea that we've now played around with 60 years of alternatives to the nuclear three generation family, he says.
