There's always an interesting way to poke at a rigid theology because you've got like what, if you ascribe any sort of humanity to those types of characters, you have to admit that they can't be all one way. And then later when Crowley like whips out his wings, like angels, I mean demons are just angels. So is the book mostly dealing with the like very traditional Christian theology pretty exclusively? It's not or at least, you know, the Western theology rather than dealing with anything else. There are other humans in the book like the four horsemen and there are these people in this like biker gang who take up with them.
Good Omens was written by a sort of science fiction supergroup, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It's one of those books where it's as fun to chew on the turns of phrase as it is to find out what happens, which is pretty amazing since it's literally about the end of the world.
