I worked for the same company for eight years. I just didn't feel like that was my calling long term to work for a company. So kind of the plan all along was for me to actually go part time, but I wasn't super comfortable just like completely eliminating the paycheck. And so once we had those things in place and I put it in that perspective of the risk, that's when I knew, okay, I need to give this a shot.
