How Do You Monitor Your Athletes' Performance?

Daily workouts are an example of process goals and then within those workouts you know just little tasks to focus on. I think it's a mixture of using sort of key training metrics and then communication with the athlete so usually the type of testing that will do comes down to a sort of matter of resources, personality and what they like and dislike.
