There's actually places that do have laws explicitly against political discrimination, such as washington do c. You're not going to find any place like that. If it were really true that the major corporations were governed by total true believers, why do they even have a legal team that tries to go and minimize the damage for the lawsuits they get for discrimination violations? It is not true. The law is actually quite crucial.
