Isolating Facts Isn't Good for You

Expert blindness is the idea that when you're an expert, you forget about all the stuff that you already know. Einstein was slightly anti-knowledge as well but it's because they were gaining loads of knowledge and it was really important to them. The same goes for programmers - 70% of their own actions and skills are unaware of. So there's all this stuff that becomes tacit as you become more of an expert.
