Just in the last decade, the ultra layer rates also affected the investment in alternatives. There was cheap financing for alternative energies for solar and wind turbines. It's not clear whether if you put up interest rates that a lot of these projects are viable. But I think the most important question is have we taken on board the consequences of shifting to a lower form of energy?
