Late afternoon, early evening exercise or any type of exercise actually helps our muscle to absorb a lot of glucose and use them with no or minimum help from insulin. So that's why I would say almost everybody is wondering, think about even if you are going to gym in the morning, that's fine. But in late afternoon or evening, if you have free diabetic or type 2 diabetic, they may start thinking about switching that exercise either before dinner or after dinner.
