CHAPTER

ACTR 2.0 and 4.0 - Is Working Memory More Important?

I'd like to know more about how much of ACTR is aimed at modeling conscious versus unconscious thought processes. I presume that most of it is conscious because if you're talking about things like arithmetic, people don't do that by accident. But they haven't really drawn a boundary between them and the stuff that I'm reading. So anyway, I hope this at least wetted your appetite or peak or interest about the idea. It's basically an outgrowth of trying to understand better the whole working memory, long-term memory stuff. There are some more articles I'dlike to cover and more material I'd like to talk about there.
