The Role of Ideology in Extremism
I think what you're saying is that that is that the radicals of extremists can be given a permission slip by the broader group. But at the same time, the ideology that they subscribe to kind of gives a permission slip to unbalanced people that want to engage in these things. So yeah, I just want stochastic terrorism to be a concept which is applied consistently whenever people are concerned about it. You don't actually need to be saying, pick up your gun and go and kill people for that kind of rhetoric to have an effect.
