The Disruption of White Color Jobs in China

In mainland China, people are finding out the hard way their jobs can be replaced by artificial intelligence and chat GPT surfaces. Goldman Sachs predicted that chat GPT style technology could replace up to 25% of current white color work in office administration and legal services. Kai Fu Lee suggests there will be a sustained period of relearning and recalibrating different skills as well as the need for universal basic income.
