The Pyramid of Pricing
At intercoma, we charged customers based on the number of contacts that they had in the intercome a data pase. This was a perfectly fine and good way to start, and it served us well at first. And then it stopped working well for us for two reasons. No one wants pricing that's hard to t and customers also found it to be not very differentiated. I really developed that principle of aligning price to value, and came up with the pyramid.
