Is There a Disanalogy in Artificial Intelligence?
The means by which computers do what they do and behave intelligently are going to be fundamentally different from the way that we do it, right? Because they don't have a brain. So we're not going to learn about the intricacies of brain function by looking at... By devising these AI systems because they don't work in the same way. Maybe at the functional level, there are some similarities, but if you're interested in the causes, how things happen, surely there is a disanalogy there.
