I'm not sure if we entirely agree or entirely disagree. I think the conclusion for that isn't what we should subsume the novelist interpretive enterprise and make that part of how psychologists do their business. Some are scientific and some are not. And so it's not patently clear to me at all that's just because interpretation is very clearly not the purview of science that it's like there's no room for that sort of thing. So I get it, why professors of psychology don't do it. I personally think that we should take it more seriously. And I love what anthropologists have done with it. In my view, anthropology is worse off for not being more like psychology
