Some kind of PvP mechanic really makes sense because if all money that comes in is like money that is looking for your financialization then I think everyone will lose over time. If people are putting in money themselves for the chance to win greater money and it's clear in the rules that some people will lose out, then you can have things like prize pools which are very easily understood in the world of games. Enter a prize pool, enter and have an entry fee to have a prize pool where people can compete. Then you have people who are helping the competitor. I would see lots of that happening.
