The Differences Between Statistics and Fundamentals
I think what we could benefit from a bit of clarification here is statistics versus fundamentals. Once you first get out of the kind of academic arena, you can't really solve many models by hand. And I suppose that's definitely true for I suppose power markets, which are very complex. Even in such a rather to be simple system, you still can make an informed choice as to what to include, or not to include. There's still some art, not just science in a way.
