The Pros and Cons of Using the WellBe to Measure Cost Effectiveness

Happier Lives Institute wants to compare across charities using a metric called the WellBe which is kind of a play on the Dali. The WellBe is a measure of well being and one WellBe is the value of raising someone's self-assessed subjective well being by one point on a ten point scale for one year. So if an intervention made me go from rating my life a five out of ten to a six out of ten and that impact lasted for 12 months then that would be one WellBe that had been generated. I think over time as we continue to grow and increase the size of our team will be in a position to include more factors explicitly in that analysis.
