The Myth of Mobility in America
I often think of Americans as quite quick to move states in a way that British people are not. People seem much more readily up for moving to different places depending on economic reasons but also social and cultural reasons. I'm wondering how that plays out in the American character almost the internal nomadism. In the UK it's quite unusual relatively to move to a city or if you do you then move back to where you grew up.
