Cognitive dissonance is when we have two held beliefs that are in conflict with one another. When people don't want to follow through on something, they often find new beliefs to rationalize the action to fit the first belief. We're going to learn from some of these different mind traps that we fall into. At the end of each of them, we'll have a bit of a yarn.
