How Good Are We at Detecting These People?

There's been research on lying for 70 years or so with not a lot of queer results. We have come to conclusions that lie detectors in the traditional sense though, did you kill after major in the library? Don't work. Some people can take out lie detectors by exaggerating their responses to everything and they're covering up anything about a criminal. But I don't know, I can't really speak to saying definitively that detecting lying is still almost impossible.
