Aren't PROs in Clinical Trials?

Vodico and others have argued that without capturing the patient voice in clinical trials, for example, through patient-reported outcomes, will be left with an incomplete picture of the true patient experience. But often PROs are in fact not included in trials. I'm wondering if you could comment on why you think this is and what you feel is needed to increase the use of PROs in clinical trials. Mel Robbins: We really don't have an accurate current picture on the global use of patient- reported outcomes across all trials and settings.
