Python and Astronomy - What Are You Doing?

With astronomy, there's visibility. You've got a certain targets are not invisible. Not visible at all times of the year. So we have insistent and scheduling systems that know what these things are. And it figures out what is the most optibl way to organize those observations in order to get them to astronomers as fast as possible. As madon said, we do a lot of parsing, so we're jason parsing and x parsing. I hel ther's good old fashioned bit busting, where we've got to get into the telemetry binary files and bust out the sections of bits that are the data from the wrappers that tie down that we ata.
