The COVID Emergency Will End When the Supreme Court Ends It

The idea is Congress stops legislating. So then the executive steps in to fix political problems. And they don't really care whether they have the constitutional authority because if the court strikes it down a couple of years later, they get the press release. The president gets to swoop in like Superman only on the things he wants to sort of fan service. governors win because the party out of power in the White House suddenly has all these lawsuits that they can bring to get their own headlines. Only loser is the federal court system in the years and the American people.
