Choosing Physics as a First Year Module
physics was one of the three modules i took in first year. I found it tricky at first, and quickly fell into a cycle of not fully understanding lectures or grappling with problem sheets long enough to get to grips with material. It almost certainly had a detrimental impact on my mental health that year. On the other hand, i think about what i might have picked instead. For example, there was a course called evolution and behaviour. Lookg at learning about animals and what they do and why fascinating.
