The Importance of Watching the Market

I'm terrified of putting, letting that money work in the new year and getting that 20% hit. So I get a lot more conservative usually at the beginning of the year. And also me personally, and this is just my biases. January has generally been a little bit harder for me. February's were always kind of really tough for me. But you know, I've been proven wrong. You have to remain flexible. That's the key. If you had known what was going to happen economically before the year had started, you'd have done very, very poorly. It proves my adage: Nobody knows anything.
