Is That Really Roman Art?

Most of the Greek sculptures in the Met are actually Roman. When nobles got rich for a long time, the thing to do is to get a copy of a Greek statue. So they would have Roman artists copy the Greek statue. And what I find so fascinating is that these are artists very cable doing Roman art. But when they're being paid to copy a Greek statue, they give us Greek art which clearly has Greek spirituality.
