Blackmail by Charles Bennett
Patrick walshm id as tracy, an artist down on his luck in 19 twentyes london. He knows that a shop girl called alice has killed one of his old friends in self defence and intends to profit from his knowledge. The play is by charles bennett, and it was a great hit of 19 28. Alfred hitchcock made a film of it. But this play is also by mark ravenhill, because he's done stantial renovations on bennett's text. And i've been brought in as hs as his dialogue writer.
