Is There a Normal Society in the Media World?

CNN has influence vastly out of proportion to its viewership. Joe Rogan's got probably 15, 20 times the audience that a typical CNN program has. I hate how balkanized and fragmented we have become in a media world. We can't even experience election day anymore because we have voting for a month before and we count votes for weeks after.
