i think it's naive to believe that any place is going to be perfect. You don't know if you're going to resonate with the message of that city or place until you try it out. Maybe one day the most important community you belong to will be a virtual one, and it won't matter where you live physically. But i wouldn't bet on it. The physical world is very high banned with and some of the ways in which citys sends you messages are quite subtle.
We all know that where you live is one of the most important decisions you can make, but it may be more important than you think. And with more people working remotely, there is no more freedom than ever in deciding where you call "home."
