A lot of people genuinely think that, e what they're doing is a net good. Most people are absolutely open to a discussing ideological matters or historical matters in like a bubble. So the second you start questioning the ideological framework through which the they are reporting it starts feeling like a direct personal attack and not necessarily an attack on the ideology.
