I don't think you want to be trying things amateur style. If you're working through like a high degree of trauma, and you're even interested in this subject, there are so many professionals. I know pelvic floor specialists who will work with people with vaginismus or who are dealing with assault that they will not touch you at all. So if you're curious about this, but you're feeling nervous, you need to tune into those feelings and go slow. It's important to communicate about these things. And again, normalize it.
