What's the Appeal of the Stoics?
Stoicism is an inward focused philosophy. It's all about looking in on yourself and a configuring your interior life to respond to the given reality, instead of looking outward,. say, to a god or to a religious faith. The stoics have that quality, like here, certain disciplines and practices you can follow. And so i think that appeals to people too, e as you say correctly.
