God's Presence Permeates All of Creation
Dennis: If God's presence is everywhere aren't we always on holy ground? But as Christians don't we believe that God's everywhere. So there are moments and places in the story of the Bible where God's presence will become more tangible. That's what Jacob encounters in his dream in the middle of a field for Moses. And when God's presence shows up usually it's traumatic. Usually it's some kind of crazy natural phenomenon associated with fire and cloud and thunder and lightning. The burning bush is just a microcosm of what's happening in the whole story of God's whole universe.
