The Science of Persuasion

In a particular community, there are conventions. And so those conventions mean that some kinds of evidence are going to be more persuasive than others. What works for a scientist is any activity which will help them persuade others of their claim. Anything that adds persuasive value to a claim becomes part of the scientific method for a particular field. The idea of the paradigm as Kuhn used it changed him, he used it in many different senses, different periods of his career. It's very something still very hard to pin down.
