Sally Kohn: I'm moved to tears by the humanity of other human beings. The energy at a protest, where you have all these different people coming together, sharing in chance, standing off against police, handing out water, there's a communal aspect to that that often brings me to tears. She says it points to something deep and inhuman history; "seeds of humanity" are needed if we're to move forward as a civilization.
