ORMs Are a Better Option Than Repository Patterns

I find that ORM are slightly now because now we're more into cloud providers and cloud native applications. I don't think that in the future they will be very much relevant because everything will be in the cloud. But for me, yes, I find it useful to separate what is persisted from what is used in the business project. The mediator pattern is one of the things that you see everywhere without any backing reason on why you should do it. It's called vertical slices but if you follow through this argument, you will find that it's using a unit of work pattern, like the repository afterwards.
