It's interesting to use the term legacy. I was in a plant not that long ago and used the term to refer to an OPC system. It does bring up a good point. There's always this lot more on the IT side of innovation that says they just rip and replace. These are very long lifecycles for these things. Once you've validated and are regulating any manufacturing process, it's very difficult to swap those.
