The Deputy White House Counsel's Response to the Indictment

The obvious aim here, I think, is to try to drag it into the election cycle and should Trump win the election by another four years of the essential immunity. The previous month, the Deputy White House Counsel had informed the defendant, Donald Trump, that there's no world where you don't get out of here on January 20. They're arguing that it's the defendant's right to a speedy trial,. not the state's right and it's a rush and so forth.
