The Conservative Vision for the Economy

I think the big conservative vision is around the economy. I think Rishi Sunak, that's where he is coming from and he recognises. That's the most important thing for the well-being of almost everybody in the country. And whilst it isn't the kind of thing that's shining city on a hill, it's about saying to people, this is a government that's got you back. It comes down to... In your position, I would run a local campaign against Sadiq Khan rather than celebrating 12 years of conservative incumbency campaign. But politics without our ideas and vision and optimism crucially is dysfunctional. That doesn't work.
