i think there is probably a relationship between how long a paper is languishing in pure review and how much work went into it in advance. i've often wondered, you know, economics has this model of the job market where you apply to jobs on the basis of one piece of work. And i wonder what it would look like for arfield to try out a model like something like that. We're trying to moveit fort that model in my lab, but it's hard,. Because you know that the external pressures of just, like, published, published, publish, are going to be there.
