The Roman Catholic Doctrine of Sin

I don't know if those who wrote Westminster had in mind the Roman Catholic doctrine of idea of concuposence, which means it's just really important not to do stuff. I think that's a good point. Let's just read question 28 real quick of the larger catechism. What are the punishments of sin in this world? It deludes us strongly and it gives rise to vile affections in our hearts. And so we can't downplay it. The human tendency is to always make of sin less of it than it really is. Whenever we try to go down that path, it never ends well.
