The Role of Architecture in the History of Modern Art
There's already this kind of geo-imaginary of particular members of the Rockefeller family are very much thinking that it's not only the United States. That we see with the presence of Diego Rivera immediately in the Museum of Modern Art, as one of the most important living artists of the time. So that kind of greater geography is always sort of playing up and emerges at MoMA but it's always contested by many who are actually arguing for a European lineage of art or certainly of modern architecture.
