How to Test a Legacy Application With a Monolithic Database
We use a mosquito inversion of a backup and then developers work off that and it kind of works. But the thing that's really awkward with it is now that we've actually so to remind again a little bit one of the contractors that we've just bought on. She's written support for the PHP unit in this legacy, simply 1.4 application. So we've started to introduce unit tests to that problem being because we work off a backup,. It's really heavy if you then want to try and run tests against that. And because the data is always changing, you can't be certain of the state.
