Women in the larger greco roman world were, were active. Both jewish and gentile women were active in the market place. This idea that they were sequestered in their homes comes from classical greek a. But for the rest of us, ah, the women are out there. I think at it's important that that people understand women. They're just out there, like women are to day, shopping and travelling and working and all that.
