Do We Need More Funding for the Police?
The focus on defunding the police seems fundamentally con use. The end goal is for the police to do their jobs while minimizing the extent to which they brutalize citizens no good reason and kill citizens unnecessarily. No such link has been evidenced by the black live's matter movement. If we have a problem with bad public school teachers would the first solution be, de fund public schools? I'm not sure. It might be, pay teachers a higher salary so we can attract some of these alete people that would otherwise go work on wall street.
