McAfee employed a biologist who had done some work at Harvard. Alison Adonizio quit her job at Harvard and abandoned the grant for a three year research program to go to work for McAfee. They co-founded a company to cultivate natural antibiotics and topical medicine to treat wounds. But once Jeff is on site, he has trouble understanding how he would actually develop these new drugs.
